Zak Signs Extension

Zak Crawley has signed an extension to his contract with Kent. The extension commits Zak to the county for the next three years.

Since his debut in August 2017, Zak has made over 3000 runs for Kent, including four centuries. His highest first-class innings of 168 came in 2018 vs. Glamorgan.

His rapid progress was recognised by the England selectors in 2019. He toured New Zealand in November, making his England debut in the second test.

In 2020, Zak helped England to a 3-1 series win vs. South Africa. In the fourth test Zak made 66, his highest test score to date. No doubt, there will be many more runs for Zak has his international career blossoms.

Talking to kentcricket.co.uk, Zak said, “having played cricket in some capacity for my home county for nearly half of my life, I’m absolutely delighted to commit to Kent for at least three more seasons.”
