Thanks largely to Joe Clarke’s 141 not out, Nottinghamshire secured a draw in the Championship fixture at Canterbury.
After Zak Crawley’s wonderful first innings 158, Kent held the upper-hand for much of the match.
The game turned somewhat when Joe’s 141* (1 six, 21 fours) off 271 balls helped set Kent a target of 168 from 32 overs.
With Kent losing early wickets and overs diminishing, the home team had little option but to settled for the draw.
