The ECB have announced that Marcus Trescothick will become elite batting coach for England Men’s pathway. His new coaching role will see Marcus leave Somerset.
Marcus became Somerset’s assistant coach in November 2020 after calling time on his 27 year playing career with the county.
Already part of the England Men’s coaching team, Marcus will start his new role in March.
Working alongside the first-class counties, Marcus will develop and prepare current and future England players.
