George Hill has scored his second County Championship century in 2022.
The opener was the fulcrum in a commanding Yorkshire batting performance on the opening day against Hampshire.
Playing shots all around the wicket, George scored an invaluable 257 ball 131 (2 sixes, 21 fours) as Yorkshire reached 324-5 at the close.
Back in April, George scored his maiden century with an unbeaten 151* against Northants.
George has accumulated 437 runs (AVG. 48.55) in this season’s County Championship, taking him within reach of 1000 first-class career runs.
